OneClinic acquires Tricons to strengthens its expertise in hospital pharmacies
OneClinic Oy has acquired the entire share capital of Tricons Oy. The acquisition strengthens OneClinic’s expertise and experience in hospital pharmacy systems.
OneClinic, a software house that specialises in healthcare supplies and pharmaceutical logistics, strengthens its expertise and experience in hospital pharmacy systems with the purchase of Tricons Oy.
”The transaction brings us significant synergy benefits. Pharmaceutical care and hospital pharmacies are Tricons’ core competencies. Now, after the acquisition, we will be able to offer even better solutions to our existing and new customers, and we already have a significant shared customer,” says Veli-Matti Pietilä, CEO of OneClinic.
Tricons will initially continue to operate as before, but Pietilä says the intention is to merge it into OneClinic at a later stage. Customers will not be affected in any way. Services will continue as before and will be part of OneClinic’s operations. All customers will continue to receive the same high level of service as usual.
CEO Pietilä also stresses that the Tricons acquisition will bring significant growth opportunities for OneClinic. IT investments in the logistics of healthcare supplies and pharmaceutical care, including hospital pharmacies, are now on the rise now that the healthcare sector has survived the interest rate pandemic and the social welfare reform has been completed.
