OneClinic's User Experience Specialist Antti talks about his work
My probationary period is coming to an end and below is a brief overview of my main responsibilities.
On a normal day, product development testing is a key part of my working hours. Testing for small developments is straightforward, but for larger developments I put a lot of effort into pre-planning and documenting test cases, which increases the time spent on testing considerably. When testing, I collaborate with our developers, from whom I receive very professional and helpful support. I would like to thank our entire development team for supporting my start-up!
Another key task has been to define product developments. In the definition process, I work closely with our customers, whose needs the development must serve. Fortunately for me, our customers are logistics professionals in their respective fields and it has been easy to work with them. The final definition of the development is done with our product development manager Jani, who is able to curb my occasionally wild pursuit of perfection.
I have also been involved in project-level design and implementation of two different deployment projects for different clients. Working on projects has been very fascinating and I have learned a lot from our CEO Veli-Matti about how to take a project forward to a successful conclusion.
As part of the projects, I have also been training our customers in the use of our application, occasionally on-site at face-to-face training events and of course as remote support as needed on a daily basis. In particular, the implementation phase involves enhanced support to ensure that the customer receives all the support they need to successfully deploy our OneClinic Logistics application.
Special thanks also to our account manager, Johanna! I make her life unreasonably difficult with all sorts of problematic questions, and time and time again, the solution is always found in the end.
